Marching up the steps and into the barn , with much anticipated excitement that had been building, I stepped right in to a scene that ,even I could not have imagined! From the outside looking in, there was no prelude to the busy and buzz that was underway! I took a moment and began to focus! Beautiful , white , round tables decorated in a simple elegance that reflected a country spring theme. There were people everywhere, bustling around , who were putting the finishing details on everything! I was greeted by Katie, a gal who was pleasant and had the classic appearance of a young Grace Kelly. She was the gal who would be training me over the next couple of weeks. We immediately hit it off and I just knew from that first day that we would become fast friends! Katie took me to the basement to show me where to put my belongings and then began to fill me in on how the evening would progress. It was a lot to take in but I welcomed every detail shared, knowing that everything that I gleaned would be invaluable as I began my new role at the barn. Katie reviewed alot of information, going over every detail. As we walked around the venue, she greeted people with a quiet, yet controlled confidence that calmed me and allowed me to absorb each and every aspect of how this magnificant wedding puzzle was about to fit together! We greeted the wedding couple,the various venders, including the Dj,caterers,bartenders, and florist. The cake gal was putting the finishing details on the display and paused to introduce herself and then continued her task at hand. As we walked around, excitement bubbled up inside of me! I felt like I was going to really enjoy this new experience and could hardly wait for the rest of the evening to continue!
