Moments of pure joy, extreme gladness,complete with tears, all captured in my heart as I work diligently throughout the barn. Each wedding, unique in both style and decor! As people come together from all around the globe, gathered at The Blue Dress Barn to jointly celebrate a loved one, a consistent mood emerges and draws me in as I serve our guests! All who invest in the success of the evening, the owners, Kirby and Amy, the hired vendors gracing the barn, the staff on duty , all share efforts in joining together and unite as each part of the afternoon and evening unfolds! Decor now finished, guests have arrived, the bridal party has assembled, the bride ascends the long stairway to meet her groom,ceremony precedes, and then on to a spectacular reception, complete with appetizers, the grand entrance as husband and wife and on with a delectable meal ushered along with spirits and dance! A quiet,orchestrated labor that builds with such intensity and then resolves as the moments unfold with broad strokes of collaboration,and all of this provides me with great satisfaction! Its very rewarding to hear"well done" and to be a part of an evening that proved magical for the bride and groom! And then....to know firsthand,that I have both witnessed,and took part in this very special night!

Rows of names,rows of family, rows of friends! Rows of love! Glasses personalized, welcoming all to enjoy the evening, drinks in hand! Taking a seat at The Blue Dress Barn is sometimes difficult because of the bubbling excitement shared by all! And then, when guests make their way to their designated tables,acquaintances old and acquaintances new,stir conversations,proving to kindle hearts and to knit together all who are gathered here on this evening of grand celebration!
